Jesse Utt Studied graphic design at Drexel University but knew all along he really just wanted to paint. Somewhere along the way he learned that he had a natural talent for making jewelry and now its what occupies most of his days.

With his Zachary Pryor accessory line he has found success in several major cities across the states and has enjoyed patronage from such celebrities as Kanye West, Brad Pitt, Mary Kate Olsen, Elizabeth Shue, Sara Evans and Taylor Swift. His work has been featured in the pages of Maxim, Time Out New York, San Diego City Beat, The San Francisco Guardian and Lucky magazine. Though it is hard to define his work, Jesse would say that his pieces are most often inspired by his closest friends around him and their personal style. This Spring the Zachary Pryor line is looking very complex, with mixed metals, found objects, precious beads and vintage finds.

Jesse Utt the painter is hard at work now on a series delving into the darkness that lies in us all, while also displaying the humor that can be used to deal with that darkness. His style is sort of pop meets impressionistic, a subversive translation of a contemporary culturet. When he isn't focusing on this theme, he spends his time painting adorable and hilarious little cartoon animals...just to keep it light. Jesse Utt's work has been shown at Redux in Portland, Sugarcube in Philadelphia, Han Cholo, 50/50 Grind and Elizabeth Paige Smith in Los Angeles, Voice 1156 in San Diego and Niagara in New York.
